Toy Drives

  • Through partnership with the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC), we are sending toys to four children’s hospitals and pediatric units across Ontario and Quebec:

    • Montreal Children’s Hospital

    • Children’s Hospital of Easter Ontario (CHEO)

    • London Children’s Hospital

    • Windsor Pediatric Unit

We are also supporting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwestern Ontario. We plan to expand to more Houses in other cities next year!

  • This year’s theme was books and stuffies. Through generous support from our friends and family, we sent over 250 books and stuffed toys to children at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwestern Ontario and London Children’s Hospital.

Check out the books and stuffies we sent here!

  • Through a generous donation from Islamic Relief, we were able to send over 125 high quality toys to children at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwestern Ontario and London Children’s Hospital. We also partnered with local organizations, such as Itsy Bitsy Muslims, who have donated brand new stuffies for the kids every year since.

  • We were able to deliver over 100 toys to children at both Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwestern Ontario as well the London Children’s Hospital.

  • Our first toy drive started off as a small family initiative. We were able to send gifts to children at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwestern Ontario.

Family Support Programs

  • In 2022, we launched another matching campaign. This time, we raised $9,100 with a generous match of $5,000 for a total of $14,900 towards SMILE Canada’s Hospital Support Program!

  • In 2021, the Alisha Jilani Foundation raised $5,000 with a generous match of $5,000 for a total of $10,000 towards SMILE Canda’s Hospital Support Program!

  • In partnership with Childcan and Wellspring London, we developed a six-week art therapy program for bereaved siblings and siblings of on-treatment kids at no cost to families.

For more details, check out Childcan’s post here!

  • For 295 days, RMHC was our home away from home while Alisha battled cancer. Now, since 2020, we support other families that need a place to stay while their children undergo cancer treatment by sponsoring a family in RMHC-SWO in London.

You can see our impact in the RMHC Annual Report here!

Blood Drives

  • For those of you who cannot give financially, please consider donating blood. Chemotherapy leaves the body unable to produce hemoglobin and platelets on its own. As a result, Alisha needed blood transfusions every week. Please click on this link to let us know if you are interested in donating blood through the Canadian Blood Services in Alisha's memory.

One of the goals of the Foundation is to begin hosting blood drives.
